Welcome to the website of Chapter 1271 of the Experimental Aircraft Association. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts who meet for lunch and our monthly on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 12 PM at the Avery County Airport (7A8) in Spruce Pine, North Carolina.
Anyone with an interest in planes or aviation is welcome to come to our meetings and to join our chapter.

Thanks to everyone from the WNC Pilot Association who flew in last Saturday for our monthly meeting and cookout. We had over 35 folks and a great time was had by all.

Ken Hawkins Cub Project Visit - May 2014
We had a great time on Saturday May 3rd checking out Ken's Cub project which is almost ready for his FAA inspection. Thanks to the many members from Chapter 1016 in Asheville who joined us for an inspection and lunch. Check out the pictures in our Photo Gallery.
